MOVING TIPS

 WHEN YOU BOOK

• Let us know your prefered moving date
• Tell us the size of the move. Eg 4 bedroom 2 storey home
• Is there more than one pick up or delivery point?
• Do you require a pre-pack?
• Do you require boxes (y/n) If yes, how many would you like?

• Clearly mark the top of the box with your name and the room the items came from
• Do not over pack boxes; remember someone has to carry them
• Seal boxes with packaging tape. Do not use masking tape as it will stretch and tear
• There is no need to pack wardrobe clothing as we will supply porta robes on the day

• Clearly mark the top of the box 'Contains Fragile Items"
• Wrap items in butchers paper or bubble wrap and use plenty of scrunched up paper in the bottom of the box and surrounding the packed items

• Keep your home phone connected and your mobile phone switched on so that we can contact you if needed
• Try to keep the front of your property clear of parked cars so that we have a clear space that can be used to park the truck
• Have items such as swing sets dismantled, barbeques and lawn mowers cleaned, gardening tools such as rakes and brooms tied and bundled together
